Distraction: Poetry
Trolling around the net, I recently came across an online copy of T.S. Eliot's "The Wasteland." By itself, this isn't anything interesting. But this particular version has hypertext explaining the historical and cultural significance of virtually everything in Eliot's brilliant yet sometimes impenetrable work. This is a boon to me, since I love the classics and being intellectually challenged while simultaneously hating pretentiousness or spending hours looking up obscure references.
Also, I know that I should have posted this last month. (First line: "April is the cruelest month.") But I just found it today, so I guess May can be the second cruelest month. Enjoy.
